Ashley and her boyfriend Zack asked if Max and I would chaperone them down in L.A., all expenses paid, so naturally how could we resist!!! We had so much fun going to Disneyland and staying at a beach house in Carlsbad (more pics to follow). It would have been the perfect vacation if only Ben could have been there, but unfortunately he had school, and has been studying for his boards part 2. Thanks to Ashley and Zach for such a great trip, Max is still talking about it!!!!

The Beach

We had so much fun down in Carlsbad, the weather was beautiful, and of course Disneyland was amazing.
They had just started (unfortunatley had not yet finished) to set up their Christmas decorations while we were there.

We then headed to the beach where the weather was beautiful. My parents were nice enough to come down and spend some time with us.

It was so nice to get away from the cold weather of San Fran (even though we missed Ben) and be with family (and of course Max LOVED all of the attention!)!!

We went to the pumpkin patch with some friends, Max liked it for a little while, but then was over it and wanted to go home. At least we got a couple good shots for memories sake!!

We had the opportunity to spend sometime in Vegas. It was so much fun shopping, eating, hanging out, and most importantly....SLEEPING!! But mostly, we sat around and missed Ariane. She's my favorite sister and - hands down - Max's favorite aunt.

We had the opportunity to go to Vegas for Ben's break and bless baby Max. Ben did a wonderful job, and it was so great to be surrounded by so many wonderful family and friends!!!

This first month with baby Max has been Awesome!!!! We cannot get enough of him. He is a very alert little guy and would rather look around than fall asleep (hence the bags under his eyes). He is also very serious, and has been known to give some crusty looks, that are both cute and a little offending at the same time. We are so blessed to have had him in our lives this last month, and cannot wait to spend many more months getting to know a see his personality grow!!
