Well, here are some pics to show what we have been up to, Max is getting bigger and more independent, and at times that is a good thing, but at other times it can be quite annoying, either way we are enjoying being a family of 3, until April when are world will be turned upside down with baby boy #2!!!

We moved to L.A. a little over a month ago for Ben to start his Perio program (he is officially a dentist, YEAH!!). We are lovin it here, it is definitely a change of weather which we love. Here are some pics of our apartment.

Max turned 1 on the 5th of August, I cannot believe he is already one!!! This time last year I was in labor and birthing out a 6lb 9oz bundle of joy, that like wine keeps getting better with age!!! Thanks to all the family and friends for making the drive to celebrate this occasion with us.

The nice thing about this bathroom is you could take a shower while sitting on the pot, and you can't see it but you could also brush your teeth in the sink while sitting too, it was tight quarters

We went zip lining in Cabo, it was soo hot but sooooo fun!! You couldn't take your camera and they charged $15 for one photo, so we were sneaky (and cheap) and took this one to prove we did it.

After Ben graduated from dental school we went on a cruise to Mexico to celebrate!! We sent Max to his Grammy and Abuelo's and headed off to the ship. It was such a blast and sooo needed (in fact I need another one now).

After our cruise we went back to Vegas to pick up our little man (who did not miss us at all he was too busy having fun with everyone), and head out to L.A. to find housing. Luckily everything worked out, we got student housing at the last minute, were able to go back to S.F. pack up and move down to L.A. in less than a week (that was a miracle in itself)!!!

9 Months

Max had his 9 month appointment a few weeks ago, here are the stats:

Weight: 20lbs (50th%)
Height: 27in(50th%)
Head circumference: I don't remember, but he is 90th%

Once again it has proved to Ben that our boy is still a genius!!

Things that Max has been up to lately
-Max crawls ALL over the place, and would rather crawl than walk, sit, be held, or be put in a stroller, so outings are a blast!!
-He pulls up on anything and everything he can
-He can go up stairs, but has no idea how to get down
-He gets into everything, and whatever he finds goes into his mouth, his favorite chew toys include any type of cord, our new coffee table, and phones (but only if they are working phones)
-He has six teeth, and is not afraid to use them! One of my favorite things is to listen to him crunch his food with his front top and bottom teeth
-He is still an amazing eater, and will not turn down anything, his favorites include veggie straws, cheese puffs, m&ms (don't judge), and bananas
-He still loves to be sung to, his favorites include itsy bitsy spider, the wheels on the bus, and basically anything with hand movements
-He loves books, and having people read to him, and then turning pages by himself
-He sleeps through the night, and is taking two naps ,one two hour, and one 30 minute nap a day
-He has had 2 haircuts so far, and is due for his next one pretty soon

We love Max so much, it is amazing how something so small can change you life in such a short period of time, and I would have it no other way!!!

Yosemite

This lady made me laugh soo hard during the trip, at one point I was laughing so hard I wet myself a little, pregnancy has done a number on my bladder

These trees were huge, and the views were amazing, (please excuse my lesbian attire, I did not realize it would be so warm and had to wear Ben's shorts and use a rope as a belt)!!

We hiked a lot longer than expected, and Max got really tired and hungry, I tell you he was a trooper through it all

I tell you these pics do not do Yosemite justice, it was absolutley gorgeous

A while back we went camping with our good friends the Brownings to Yosemite. I was a little nervous taking Max camping, but my fears were put to rest because the boy did beautifully, his mother however could have used a nice soft bed, an indoor toilet, and NO bears (I was sooo freaked out)!! All in all it was a great trip and I am happy for the experience!

Besides getting cutter everyday, Max has also had some recent accomplishments, that most people might not care about, but it makes me one proud momma, and I must share!! First accomplishment, is Max is now sitting all by himself, which has now become his knew favorite position. Now, for the best.....Max has two teeth!! He is so cute with his teeth and loves to nibble on anything he can get his hands on!!

Now, for most people that know me, know that I am not a lover of games. However, I heard about this game called 'hoopla' and had to play it!! So, we had a few people over for game night, and it did not dissapoint, it was sooooo much fun, and I will hopefully be playing it many many more times! Also, it was a chance to get to know our friends on sometimes very personal level.

6 Months

Max had his 6 month check up yesterday ( he is not 6 month until Feb. 5th)!!! I cannot believe how old he is getting!!!
Here are his stats:

Weight: 16.8lbs, 40%
Height: 26 in, 40%
Head Circumference: 90% (i do not remember the actual size)!!

So, our kid is solid, and SUPER smart.

Here are some things that Max is learning or has mastered so far:
-smiling
-laughing
-Only wakes up once a night to eat, but when he has had no nap during the day I can get a solid thirteen hours of sleep out of him
-rolls over, but prefers to scoot on his backside to get to different places
-He is not and never has been a cuddly baby, too much to do for him to lounge around
-Loves a hard surface to lay on, the harder the surface the better
-Is super alert and LOVES to people watch
-LOVES to go on grand adventures (Grammy's words), and hates to be inside with his mom all day
-Still hates his carseat, and now we found out hates his stroller too
-Prefers to be naked, when he starts to get fussy we just take off his clothes and let him chill in his diaper and he is happy as a clam
-Has started rice cereal, and is slowly getting the hang of it. He loves to watch people eat and opens his mouth when you put food to your mouth, I think he wants to get past the rice cereal and get to the good stuff!!
-He is fascinated with hands, and wants to put everything in his mouth
-Likes to grab anything and everything he can get his hands on!
-He is a chatter box, and has a lot to say, and he will not be ignored!!
-Loves his baby Einstein and gets to watch it when momma needs a break!
-Loves to spend quality man time with his dad

We LOVE Max soooo much and are soooo grateful for the time we have had to be around him, and cannot wait to see what the next 6 months has in store!

Ashley and her boyfriend Zack asked if Max and I would chaperone them down in L.A., all expenses paid, so naturally how could we resist!!! We had so much fun going to Disneyland and staying at a beach house in Carlsbad (more pics to follow). It would have been the perfect vacation if only Ben could have been there, but unfortunately he had school, and has been studying for his boards part 2. Thanks to Ashley and Zach for such a great trip, Max is still talking about it!!!!

We had so much fun down in Carlsbad, the weather was beautiful, and of course Disneyland was amazing.
They had just started (unfortunatley had not yet finished) to set up their Christmas decorations while we were there.

We then headed to the beach where the weather was beautiful. My parents were nice enough to come down and spend some time with us.

This first month with baby Max has been Awesome!!!! We cannot get enough of him. He is a very alert little guy and would rather look around than fall asleep (hence the bags under his eyes). He is also very serious, and has been known to give some crusty looks, that are both cute and a little offending at the same time. We are so blessed to have had him in our lives this last month, and cannot wait to spend many more months getting to know a see his personality grow!!

First day at home

Even though Max has only been around for just a few short days, he has stolen our hearts, and we cannot get enough of this little guy!! Just a few points to note, mostly for me so that I always remember Max's first appearance into the world. On Thursday August 5th, my doctor took pity on me and said that I could be induced, however, Max also took pity, and decided the fifth was a good day for him too. My water broke around 11:30am, but I was expecting a huge gush, and it was not, so I thought I peed my pants, so, I went on like any other day except I was a little bummed I peed myself. Ben went to school in the morning, and I just got ready to go to the hospital, expecting to be admitted sometime in the evening. Ben came home for lunch, and then I took him back to school to finish his day around 1:30pm. When I got home I stupidly thought I peed myself again, and by this time I was getting a little frustrated that I had lost all control over my bladder!! Luckily, I have a really smart sister and smart mother who told me that my water broke and I needed to go to the hospital. So, I called Ben and told him he needed to come home and go to the hospital because I was in labor. Then, I started having contractions, which started off not too bad, and about six minutes apart. We kept timing the contractions (thanks Diana), until they were about three minutes apart, and Ben and I set off around 4:00pm. Well, when we got to the hospital my contractions were 1 minute apart, and I was dilated to a seven, and I have never wanted an epidural more!! Ben was soooo great and I could not have gotten through the pain without him!! They finally gave me an epidural around 6:00pm, and in a matter of minutes I went from being dilated from a seven to a nine. Well, Max was not too happy with that and his heart rate dropped, so much so, that they wheeled me into the operating room, and I was surrounded by so many doctors, nurses, and anestesiologists. I had no idea what was happening, and Ben was left behind in the room totally clueless himself. Just as they were going to "prep me for surgery" Max decided to get his heart rate up again, and they let me continue without the c-section. About an hour later his heart rate dropped again and everyone ran into the room again, and this time Ben was by my side, they had me sign a release for the c-section, and I was trying to wrap my head around the idea. However, Max again had a different idea, and his heart rate went up to normal again. I stayed in the O.R. for another 2 hours, fully dilated, because every time I would push his heart rate would drop. Finally, his head was down and they wheeled me into a normal room (it was around 9:00pm). At around this time my Mom showed up, having just flown in from Vegas (thanks Bekah and Kyle), and this is when Max decided he finally wanted to make his appearance (she should have shown up earlier)!! There were about five doctors, four nurses, and two pediatricians in the room because they were expecting the cord to be wrapped around his neck, but after about ten good pushes he came out crying, and perfectly healthy!!! I am sooo blessed to have my healthy, albeit stubborn, little boy home!! I am also soooo grateful for my wonderful husband who has been by my side the whole way, and my biggest cheerleader!! Both Ben and I have been so blessed to have my Mom here, she is the best Grammy ever, and has such a way with Max, that I am going to have to have her live here (sorry Dad)!!!

Maxwell Benjamin Ellsworth arrived last night at 10 p.m. He is 6 lbs. 9 ozs. and 20.25 inches long. I (Aunt Ariane) have only seen one picture, but he's absolutely perfect and very handsome. Hopefully at some point Anisha will blog a picture, but until then - rest assured that he is here and everyone is healthy and happy!

You really need to be better about updating our blog. If you don't post regularly now, how can we be sure that you will update regularly once I'm born?? There are, obviously, going to be tons of cute pictures of me (because of course I'm going to be uber-handsome) and you have a responsibility to share them with our family. That's right you guessed it, we are having a BOY!!! We could not be happier and are soooo excited for July 28th to welcome Maxwell Benjamin Ellsworth into our lives!! This post has been long awaited, and I was not going to post it on the blog, but I live to please, so I hope this will make Ariane, Ashley, and my Mom happy!! Also, I have been told to post what I look like being 18 weeks prego, so enjoy.... ( I would post the ultrasound pic, but it is probably not that interesting to anyone but his parents)

So, I have received some not so suttel prompts from Ariane to update my blog, with pictures....and so here you go!

We spent the 4th of July in Vegas, soaking up the sun, and working on our tans!! I was so excited to go and see my sister and her family who are visiting from Vermont. The holidays are always a little more exciting when you can spend them with kids!! So here are a few pics that I am stealing from my sisters blog (because she told me to do so). Sorry, there are no pictures of Ben, but I swear he was there.

P.S. Ben was such a good sport watching the kids so the the girls could shop and just hang out, he is going to be an awesome dad!!

So, I am at work feeling sorry for myself that I have to be here, and being bored because I am not an overachiever and therefore, do not want to check voice mails or work on any authorizations (sorry patients)!! I was checking out people's blogs and remembered when I was in Vegas I ran into my older sisters friend, Kara, who told me about this woman's blog and how amazing it was. I found it, and let me tell you I have been reading it for the past hour, it is sooooo amazing and inspirational!!! Her and her husband were in a plane crash last August and were badly burned (here more than her husband), she blogs almost daily about her struggles, and her faith in Christ, and that everything happens for a reason. I would urge everyone and anyone to checkout her blog, (preferably not at work, I have been crying my eyes out and people are looking at me really weird) it really gives a great perspective into life, and that I need to live life to the fullest and not be so negative. I have been given trials in my life for a reason, and should be grateful each and everyday for the wonderful blessings I have been given!!

So last weekend my sister Ashley, my mom and two friends from my ward back home came out to visit good old San Francisco!! It was filled with food, visiting China town, Fisherman's warf, Golden Gate Bridge, Giradehli square, celebrating Ashley's birthday, and of course seeing Wicked!! We all had such a blast, and the play was AMAZING!!! Here are some pics from our fun adventures! Thanks to everyone who came out, it was so much fun to see and spend time with everyone!!

Farm Fresh

My co-worker found this amazing place called Farm Fresh to You where fresh and organic produce is delivered to your door once a month for a super great deal, so of course I was curious and signed up. Well, I was not disappointed!! Yesterday after a very long day I came home to find a box of fresh fruits and vegetables at my door, and recipes of what to do with them!!! So last night I made a fennel and carrot saute, and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing to go with my romaine lettuce, and this morning for breakfast I had a deliciously fresh orange!! This is such an amazing place, I would recommend everyone living in San Fran to do this!!!!

I know everyone should be impressed, two posts in one week!!

So, some of my co-workers and I went to this Filipino restaurant called Tribu Grill, and I have never had authentic Filipino food, so I was a little worried. Well, all my fears were laid to rest when the food came out and it was soooo good!! I tried a little of everything, except for the fried pigs knuckles, I just could not bring myself to eat it! So, once the meal was over they brought out this amazing dessert in this huge martini glass, it was ice cream (called halohalo) and a ton of other amazing treats in it. It was so good I had to take the straw out of my drink and put it right into the dessert to get every last bit!!!

I know that I am super late updating my post, but I figure better late than never!!! So, over Christmas we actually did a lot of fun stuff, but never brought our camera! However, Ben's brother Chris was able to take a few pictures with us riding Sara's horses, and don't we look like professionals!!

Also, on Martin Luther King day, since it was really really nice weather we decided to go with our friends Bekah and Greyson, and Seth and Corin to Monterey, it was so much fun, and so warm!! We had fun walking on lovers lane, eating dip n' dots, and finally ending our day in Carmel at the beach watching the sunset.

So I am not computer savey, and the pictures in Monterey posted first and then the Christmas pics are after, I don't know how to change this, and I would ask Ariane, but I am surprising her with this post that I did all by myself!!

Well, it will be 2 years come Monday, December 22!! I can't believe it has been two years already, time flies when you are having fun! So, this year we decided to celebrate a little early, since I work on Monday. We went with our good friends Bekah and Kyle, and went ice skating downtown and then ate at Cheesecake Factory, it was sooo much fun, and the food was super delicious!!

Thanks Ben for making these last two years so amazing, I love you!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

We had such a blast this Thanksgiving weekend!! We spent it up in Sonoma with a great friends Bekah and Kyle, Jon and Diana, and Rebecca and Greyson. The food was absolutley fabulous, Kyle did an amazing job on the turkey, and I did not do so bad myself with the green beans and sweet potatoe pie!! We also had six, yes that's right, six pies...DELICIOUS!! I ate until I was literally sick. We also had the Wii to keep us entertained and busy! It was such a fun and relaxing weekend, thanks Bekah and Kyle for inviting us!!

I realize it's been a long time since I've posted. Right now our computer situation sucks and it makes it really hard for me to post (my laptop broke and I refuse to use our PC). A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to spend the whole day with Mar k and Lisa Bellisario, and hence the first annual Bellsworth day was born. It was such a blast, we went up to Mt . Tam in Saucelito, went on a beautiful hike that ended at a huge lake. To end the day we ate at this delicious mexican place called Panchos (sorry, no pictures I was too busy eating), it had the best nachos EVER!!! Thanks to Mark and Lisa for spending the day with us, we had soooo much fun!!

SISTERS WEEKEND

My wonderful sisters came into town last weekend, it was so great to see them!! We had such a blast seeing the sites, eating great food, and of course SHOPPING! Neither of my sisters believed how cold it was coming from places where their summers are actually HOT (Vermont and Las Vegas), and packed shorts and capris, boy were they in for a surprise when they got here! Luckily San Francisco has great places to shop so we could get the girls some appropriate San Fran summer clothing. Monterey

Ben's mom and aunt came into town this weekend, and we had the opportunity to go down to Monterey and Carmel to see the aquarium, which is the #1 aquarium in the world!! It was so amazing, it totally beats the Echo Aquarium in Vermont!! My favorite part were the Jellie fish, they were so colorful, and I love the way that they move. After this we went on the 17 mile drive and saw the Pebble beach golf course, beautiful beaches, and some of the largest homes I have ever seen!! It was such a beautiful drive, a little foggy, but that was okay. Then we ended our trip at a beach in Carmel and watched the sunset!! It was such a beautiful and warm day!! Thank you Mom Ellsworth and Aunt Kayla for visiting us, we had such a blast!!!

Relaxing Sunday

This evening Ben and I invited Kyle, Bekah, and Brian over for Sunday dinner. Dinner was consisted of fajitas, vegetarian alfredo (Brian is vegan), caesar salad, and brownies... it was DELICIOUS!! However, after dinner is when the party started, Ben busted out the guitar and sang a great song that he wrote with some of his friends about BYU and dating (it is pretty funny), and I of course was the back-up dancer. Here are just a couple of pictures of the evening, I did not take a lot because I was busy dancing!!

Vermont and Vegas

So I had the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to go to Vermont and have a sisters week, and let me tell you it was so much fun!! It has been a while since we were able to get together and just PARTY!! We went to the aquarium, had some fresh cider, went shopping, ate, and most importantly we went to the Ben and Jerry's factory and had free ice cream!! I, unfortunately did not take a lot of pics in Vermont because I thought I forgot my camera until the day before we left I found out I had put it in my bag... my bad. After Vermont we traveled to Vegas to spend some quality time with our parents and enjoy the warmth, let me tell ya we needed to defrost, Vermont was absolutely FREEZING!! My sister Ariane was able to fly back with us with her two sons (her husband is in Medical School and doing a rotation in a different city), they were pretty good on the flight, but I never want to repeat the experience again, it was the longest flight of my life!! We had a 3 hour car ride from Burlington, VT to New Hampshire, then a 3 hour plane ride to Chicago, and 2 hour layover in Chicago, and then a 4 hour flight to Vegas...it was the longest day of my life, sleep would have been nice, but with a 3 year old and a one year old that was out of the question!! Vegas was a blast, and did not disappoint, it was soooo warm!! I loved being able to go outside in just a shirt and shorts and be warm!! It was so much fun to spend time with my family, they are so great, it was sad to leave, but I missed my sweet hubby and now I am back in good old San Fran!! But, no worries, next weekend I will be back in Vegas to go to the Logandale fair, I am so excited!! Don't feel bad for Ben I am not just abandoning him again, he has a scuba diving trip planned with some dental school buddies, and I did not want to be left alone, and who can resist funnel cakes!!!

So a few weeks ago Ben and I went to the Exploratorium with our friends Seth and Coren. It was so much fun, and can you guess what my favorite picture was?!! The next day, we went out with Mark and Lisa to China town and Fisherman's Warf. I did not take a lot of pictures, I must have been having to much fun, but there is on of Ben and I at the Pier... Okay, I have been tagged. Now, I said that I would never do one of these things, but my husband is studying and I am super bored, so I thought that I would make my sister happy....so here we go:

10 years ago: I was making the big step from elementary school to junior high!! I really did not have a best friend, or any friends really for that matter, because I was quite mean ( but that soon changed, no worries I am not mean anymore)!!

Snacks I enjoy: Donuts, oreo cookies, brownies, and cheesy puffs!

1. Read my scriptures (I am trying to do the Hinckley challenge)
2. Prepare for my primary lesson

1. First and most importantly, 10% goes to the man upstairs!
2. I would pay off Ben's school loans

6. Invest (that one is for Justin)

3 of my bad habits:
1. I am a hypochondriac, if I hear about a disease I have it, even if there is no way I could possibly have it ( I think that it runs in the family, ex: Ariane thinking she has an enlarged prostate)
2. I am OCD (it also runs in the family). Everything has to be clean, if it is not I can not sleep, I just lay in bed and think about everything that is dirty, it drives Ben nuts!!
3. Now I do not think this last one is bad, but Ben sure hates it, I have a habit of being very sarcastic. When we first started dating Ben almost broke up with me because he could not handle all of the sarcasm, but I think that he is learning to love it!

1. I love to watch Gems TV. I never knew this channel existed until I came to San Francisco, but now I am obsessed, one day I will actually purchase something form this show!
2. I also love Judge Judy!! I do not know what it is about her, but every night at 7:30pm her show comes on, and I totally look forward to it.
3. I really only wear the colors brown, blue, white, and occasionally black. I have a really hard time wearing anything outside these colors. I buy different color clothing with the intention of breaking out of my ways, but they always end up collecting dust at the back of my closet, I really need to change this, perfectly good clothes are going to waste!
4. I am a perfectionist. I have a hard time starting a project, or any other thing because if it does not turn out perfect it will just ruin my day. This is probably why I am not as crafty as I wish I were, I need perfection!!
5. I love to read other people's blogs, I think that it is just so much fun, I can spend so much time just looking at blogs!! This is a side note, but I love how this blog world is becoming such a trend with the Peterson side of the family, I am getting caught up with so many people!!

Mocktail Party!!

Doing delicious non alcoholic jello shots!!!

We had the opportunity this past Saturday to go to Kyle and Bekah's apt. for a Mocktail party... and as you can tell it was such a blast!!! There was so much good food, great friends, and of course tons of non-alcoholic beverages which included jello shots, margaritas, and pinia coladas. Thanks to Bekah and Sarah for helping throw such a great party, and thanks to all who came it was great seeing and talking with everyone!!

I have been really into scrapbooking lately, and so for Christmas my wonderful sister-in-law, Kerstin, got me some awesome scrapbook stuff. Over the past couple of days I have been going scrapbook crazy, and I thought that I should share some of my pages. I know that my pages are more simple than most, but hey, I am new to scrapbooking. However, as I do it more I hope that I will just get better and better!! Oh, and if anyone has any good ideas, or good scrapbook websites to visit, I would love the input!

Ben had a half day on Tuesday, and has been wanting to take me to this place where him and his friend Seth go mountain bike riding. He kept telling me how beautiful it was, and when we got up to the top of the mountain I had to agree, it was absolutely AMAZING!! It was such a nice day too, which was great for us, but not so good for the hang glider who was all set to take off but the winds were not agreeing, so he had to pack up for the day. After the beautiful views of the mountain we decided to go to the beach which again did not disappoint!! It was so nice and the water felt good on my feet. All around it was a great trip, and I can not wait to go back!

My friend Diana gave me this idea to cover my ugly power box with this cute picture board. So I went to the craft store and got all of the material, and about an hour later I have created what I consider to be a super cute art piece. It was super simple to make, but I think that it looks so good, and it is a lot better to look at then that ugly power box!! Now, I just need pictures to put on the board, so please feel free to send pictures my way, and I will be sure to display them!!

I would like everyone to meet the newest member of the Ellsworth family, and Ben's pride and joy..... Bubba, the plant! Ben has been feeling for a very long time that something has been missing from our family, and after much thought and consideration he decided to get a plant. We spent an hour at Costco picking out the perfect one, and I believe it is just lovely, and adds a ton to the apartment, and it makes Ben happy so it is a win win! I have never owned a plant, so it will be a new experience, I hope it does not die!!

Here are just a few random pictures of our Christmas vacation. We have done so much, we spent Christmas with Ben's family, Ben got tons of great stuff, including his favorite present... SOCKS!!! I also got great things, including a beautiful jewelry box that I just love. We then flew to Vegas to spend the rest of the holidays with my family where we were lucky enough to have Christmas part two, which included Mom's famous Christmas breakfast...Delicious!! The next few days following have included bike riding, seeing the lights at Ethel M Chocolates, shopping, and going to the gardens at the Belagio! We hope everyone is having as much fun as we are, and we wish you all a wonderful New Year!!!

Well once again I have been slacking when it comes to updating this site, but really it is hard to update when we live pretty boring lives!!! However, this past week we have had the pleasure of being in the warm state of Arizona visiting Ben's family. We have had a blast so far spending time with family, helping pass out food at the retirement home, eating excellent food, and seeing the lights at the Temple in Mesa, they are so beautiful.
However, it has not all been highs out here, if you are wondering about the picture of Ben's ear, he went mountain bike riding with his brother-in-law, Dan and totally wiped out (good thing he was wearing a helmet, it could have been a lot worse), the picture really does not do him justice it looks gruesome in person, also the side of his arm is all scratched up, and I had the pleasure of picking pebbles out of his skin!! Anyways, we are excited for Christmas, we can not wait to see what Santa brings us!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Oh, tomorrow is the 22nd, our anniversary, we can not believe it has been a year it has just flew by!!

Sorry it has taken so long to post, but better late than never!! We had such a fun and delicious Thanksgiving weekend. Like I said earlier, my sister Ashley was here and it was so nice having family here to celebrate with, it totally made this holiday worth celebrating!
It was such wonderful weather here, so before we got our eat on in Sonoma we went to the beach and the Golden Gate Bridge. We then got to stuff our faces, and boy did we ever. We want to thank Bekah and Kyle's family for having us over and lending us a car to get out there (ours was in the shop), it was nice to spend time out there! The next few days were spent eating leftovers, relaxing, and seeing the sights (I will post more pictures when I can figure out how to work the slide show)! It was really sad when Ash had to go home and it was time to get back to school and work, but the count down to Christmas and when we can see our families has begun!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

I am so excited that my lovely and talented sister Ashley is coming to visit us for Thanksgiving!!! It is so nice to have her here!! This is my first year ever making a turkey so I hope everything turns out okay, but if it does not that is fine too because our good friends Kyle and Bekah have invited us over to their parent's sweet pad for Thanksgiving. So this year will just be a test run for when I actually have to make all the fixins myself!!

Well, Since I am really good at being a follower,and have been recieving mean comments to update my site, I thought that I would compose a list of what I am thankful for, so here it goes.....

1. I am so so grateful for my lovely husband Ben. He is truly my best friend and I am so grateful that he is my eternal companion. I love his dedication to school, and especially his dedication to me (that's all that matters)! He is always there for me, and can really cheer me up when I am down.

2. My wonderful and talented sisters. I love them SO much. I look up to them and ever since I can remember I have wanted to be just like them. They have taught me so much in my life, whether by example or through there great wisdom they have so willingly imparted on me.

3. My parents. They have been such great examples to me! Their love for the gospel and their constant willingness to sacrifice their time and money for me and whoever else is in need has been such a great blessing.

4. I am grateful for great brothers who are priesthood holders!

5. I am so grateful for my beautiful nieces and nephews. I love talking to them on the phone, and especially enjoy seeing them whenever I can. They are all so fun and I can tell that they will be super smart, and definite heart breakers!!

6. I am grateful for great sister-in-laws. I have been blessed with five wonderful new sisters ( and still counting). I love talking and getting to know each one and I love all of the new advice I am receiving!!!

7. I am grateful for hot showers!! It has been foggy and cold here, and this kind of weather just chills me to the bones. So every night when I get home from a long day at work I head straight to the shower. I get the water so hot that it sometimes hurts, but oh it's a lovely hurt!

8. Now, this one is going to come as a shocker to my closest family and friends, but I am so grateful for bedtime! My favorite time of night is after a long day and a lovely shower slipping into my 400 count sheets (I hate being poor) and going to bed!! I seriously count down the minutes until it is 8:00pm so that I can experience this sweet pleasure (I wait until it is 8:00 because I feel if I go to bed any early it would be taboo, and I would be really pathetic)!

Now I have many many more things that I am grateful for, but unfortunatly I am at work (defintly NOT one of the things I am grateful for), and so I must get back to work.
Thank you Ariane and Kerstin, I have been feeling a little down latley and when I saw your guys blogs I thought I should stop looking at what I do not have and start being grateful for what I do have, and I feel much better!!
